Candy was born and raised in Montgomery, Alabama After attending college and seminary, she began her career in Christian education, teaching every age group from six-weeks-old to seniors in high school. In 2003, Candy went to Kiev, Ukraine, and came home a mother of two—her son and daughter! They will both be seniors in high school in the fall. Candy shares, "Time goes by so fast…which is why I LOVE what I do. Children do the most changing during their preschool years…and these preschoolers KNOW they hold my heart in their hands! I am privileged to be able to minister to young children, their parents and the teachers as well. This year marks my 25th year in education and it has been one of the best decisions in my life. Watching children grow is such a joy! I am married to Tommy and together we have four children. We enjoy riding our motorcycle, watching movies, camping and watching college football. I’m a HUGE Auburn fan and he’s a HUGE Alabama fan so football Saturdays get a little rowdy at our house!"
