About the Speaker
Bryan Osborne grew up in North Carolina and went to a high school there. He attended a Christian college in Dayton, Tennessee—Bryan College.where he earned a degree was in biblical studies with minors in Greek and Christian education. Afterwards, he went to another Christian university, Lee University, and got his master’s degree in education. Afterwards, he became a Bible history teacher in a public school system for 13 years Bryan shares, "Teaching Bible history meant that I had an open door to answer kids’ questions about things like evolution, homosexuality, drug use—any question they had—from a biblical-history perspective. It was a tremendous ministry and I loved it." For 20 years, he has helped youth and young adults in the local church to know and defend their faith. After that position, Bryan came to work for Answers in Genesis. Bryan and his wife, Marla, were married in 1998 and have a son.
What is "Answers in Genesis?"
Answers in Genesis is an apologetics (Christian defending) ministry, dedicated to helping Christians defend their faith and proclaim the gospel of Jesus Christ effectively. They focus on providing answers to questions about the Bible, particularly the book of Genesis, regarding key issues such as creation, evolution, science, and the age of the earth. The mission of Answers in Genesis is to support the Church in fulfilling its commission; to bring reformation by restoring the foundations of the Christian faith which are contained in the book of Genesis; and to provide answers from Genesis and the rest of Scripture to make Jesus Christ, our Creator and Redeemer, relevant to the Church and world today. The Principal Officer is Ken Ham and it is based in Hebron, Kentucky. The ARK Encounter is owned and operated by Answers in Genesis where he serves as full-time speaker, author, and curriculum specialist. He and his wife have one son.
